HOW THE INK FEELS Final Showing Continued...
Lewis & Clark College is located at 0615 SW Palatine Hill Road, Portland, Oregon.
In celebration of the exhibit's long journey, an opening event will be held on June 5th, 2008, 5:00-8:00 pm. The program will feature a reading by Fred Marchant, editor of the newly published early poems of William Stafford, Another World Instead (Graywolf Press, 2008), along with readings and commentaries from poets, artists, and printers represented in the exhibit. A broadside printed for the occasion by Karla Elling will be available for those in attendance.
Summer gallery hours for public viewing are: Thursdays from 4:00-8:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from noon - 4:00 pm. through July 13th, 2008. THIRD ANNUAL POETRY & POTLUCK Continued...
The event is free. Participants are asked to bring a main dish to share, one or two poems to read (yours or someone else’s), a lawn chair, and a friend or family member. The FWS Board of Trustees will be on hand to answer questions and provide the coffee, sodas, paper plates, eating utensils, and welcome mat. There will also be a raffle and Stafford broadsides will be available for sale.
